Game idea and project leadership
Prof. Dr. Klaus Eisenack from the Humboldt University of Berlin developed the original idea of the board game. Together with Nils Marscheider he brought the idea of webgame version forward and lead the realization of the project. They also developed workshops together with NGOs such that playing the game can be embeded in an educational context.

Further development
Eugen Guzun added the trees to the game, has been maintaining the code for many years and also made the Romanian, Ukrainian and Russian translation of the game possible.
His contributions have been crucial for keeping the code of the game usable and without him the installation of the game on the server at Tuebingen University would not have been possible.
Further contributions
Nils Marscheider, while at the University of Oldenburg, has served as the contact person and coordinator of the project.
Irene, Gaetano and Enrico from the NGO Viraçao&Jangada translated the game to Italian.
Mathurin Choblet installed the game at Tübingen University and translated the game to Spanish.
